Ensemble de violoncelles de Montréal
I have a master's degree in Piano Performance from the University of Alberta, having studied there with Dr. Ernesto Lejano. I also studied pedagogy and performance at the Victoria Conservatory for 4 years with Robin Wood. For winning the Club Austria Competition, I attended the Salzburg Mozarteum summer program in 1975. Canada Council and Alberta Heritage grants enabled me to study at the Lübeck Hochschule and at the Banff Centre where I eventually became a repetiteur for the Banff Opera program and a coach for the Gifted Youth Program.
I taught at the University of Saskatchewan for four years, then moved to Montreal. since 1985, I worked for the Montreal Symphony Orchestra as accompanist and pianist, and became the Director of Music at the Unitarian Church of Montreal where I have worked since 1987.
Since 2020, I a have been the pianist/coach for the Ensemble de violoncelles de Montreal.
